Stop typing the
same orders twice.

GHIMS-xtra fills the GHIMS medication order table from templates you saved once. Pick a pack, apply it, adjust what differs for this patient.

One click fills the whole order table — every drug, dose and frequency the template carries.

Installation Guide

Checking whether GHIMS-xtra is installed…
1

Download

Download ghims-xtra.zip. No need to extract it — Chrome takes the zip as-is.

2

Open the extensions page

Chrome won’t let a website link you there, so copy this and paste it into the address bar:

chrome://extensions
3

Enable developer mode

Toggle “Developer mode” in the top-right of that page. It’s what allows an extension installed outside the Chrome Web Store.

4

Drag the zip in

Drag ghims-xtra.zip from your downloads onto the extensions page. Chrome unpacks and installs it in one go — you can delete the zip afterwards.

If your Chrome refuses the zip, extract it and use “Load unpacked” on the extracted folder instead — then keep that folder somewhere permanent. Either way, Chrome will show a standing “Disable developer mode extensions” notice: expected, and safe to dismiss.

5

Add your templates

Reload this page — the box above will confirm the install. Then pick up the medication packs, which install in one click now that the extension is present.
